With Anzac Day just around the corner, it is a great time to start thinking about how you can get your family involved to remember. We've pulled together some fun and engaging ways for you to get the kids involved. Give them a go this long weekend:
Make your own Poppy
The poppy has become a symbol of remembrance. Add a pop of red to your home with these DIY poppies, simply follow the instructions from the video below!

Jump into the kitchen
It wouldn’t be Anzac Day without some baking! Get the little ones involved and make a batch of Anzac biscuits.

Or if you’re looking to change things up, why not try this Anzac slice?

Attend an Anzac Day service
Dawn services and other Anzac Day events are held throughout New Zealand to remember those who served our country.

Or you can have your own service at home. Stand At Dawn, an initiative born out of the pandemic, encourages kiwis to stand the end of their driveways on Sunday 25th, a great alternative if you can’t make it to your local dawn service!
These activities will be sure to make this Anzac Day one to remember!
