What Are Springfree Trampolines?
Before getting into the list, let’s briefly go over what Springfree Trampolines are and how they differ from traditional trampolines.
Springfree Trampolines, as the name suggests, are made without springs—which is what traditional trampolines use for bounciness.
Instead of springs, Springfree Trampolines use flexible composite rods that are built to sustain longer than springs, which tend to stretch, lose their bounce, rust or trap toes and feet.
Because Springfree Trampolines are built from a composite material that is three times stronger than steel and are equipped with safety features, like a flexible net system and an ultraviolet (UV) stabilized mat, they eliminate 90% of product-related injuries.
The 8 Springfree Trampolines
Before going into the list of Springfree Trampolines, there are a few important notes that apply to all of the trampolines discussed in this article that you need to be aware of:
Note #1: We recommend there be a 1-1.5m clearance around the entire trampoline to ensure it has enough room to safely be used.
Note #2: The max single jumper weight capacity, a crucial number to know when purchasing a trampoline, is based on how heavy you are and how high you jump. It is about ensuring jumpers don’t ‘bottom out’ (touch the ground while jumping).
The Mini Round and Compact Round Trampoline models have a max single jumper weight capacity of 80 kilos. The Medium, Large and Jumbo Trampoline models have a max single jumper weight capacity of 100 kilos.
Note #3: A trampoline’s total structural capacity, another key number to know, is the maximum capacity the trampoline can hold. The Mini Round, Compact Oval and Compact Round have a total capacity of 600 kilos. The other six models have a total capacity of 700 kilos.
With that out of the way, let’s go through the nine different Springfree Trampolines you can choose from as you look to find the right one for you, starting from smallest to biggest:
Description: The Mini Round is the smallest trampoline option available at 6 ft/1.9m wide with an overall footprint of 6 ft x 6 ft.
Who Would Be a Fit for a Springfree Mini-Round Trampoline?
-
You would want to go with this trampoline if your backyard is tight on space.
-
Great option for beginner jumpers and smaller children.
-
The Mini-Round is the least expensive trampoline offered by Springfree, so it would be a good fit for families that want a Springfree Trampoline but don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on one.
Who Would Not Be a Fit for a Springfree Mini-Round Trampoline?
-
Since the max single jumper weight capacity is 80 kilos, you SHOULD NOT buy the Mini Round if the jumper weighs above 80 kilos. The trampoline won’t break if you’re over 80 kilos, but you do run the risk of bottoming out (touching the ground) when meeting the maximum height of 7 ft x 7 ft.
-
If you have a big backyard that can accommodate a larger trampoline, buying a bigger trampoline will give you more space to jump and you also decrease the chances of your child physically growing out of the trampoline as they get older.
Cost: $999

Description: The Compact Oval Trampoline is another beginner trampoline that is the smallest oval-shaped Springfree Trampoline offered. It measures 6 ft x 9 ft and provides 47 square feet of jumping space.
Who Would Be a Fit for a Springfree Compact Oval Trampoline?
-
Great fit for those with an unconventional backyard that needs a beginner trampoline to fit into small narrow spaces.
-
It’s also a good option for urban houses that desire a smaller trampoline model.
-
For a Springfree Trampoline, it’s another affordable option for families that don’t want to spend in the $1,200 range for a trampoline.
Who Would Not Be a Fit for a Springfree Compact Oval Trampoline?
-
Just like the Mini-Round Trampoline, the Compact Oval model has a max single jumper weight of 80 kilos, which means you shouldn’t purchase this model if the jumper exceeds 80 kilos
-
If you don’t want your child to outgrow the trampoline, purchasing the Compact Oval model may not be the best choice.
Cost: $1,699

Description: The Compact Round Trampoline, which is 8 ft wide / 2.5m and has 54 square feet of jumping space, has a mat size equivalent to a 10 ft spring-based trampoline.
Who Would Be a Fit for a Springfree Compact Round Trampoline?
-
Since the trampoline is round, it would be a solid fit for smaller yards in an urban area.
-
The Custom Round Trampoline is also an ideal option for beginners.
-
It’s also one of the less expensive Springfree options ($1,499) while still providing plenty of room for jumping.
Who Would Not Be a Fit for a Springfree Compact Round Trampoline?
-
Same rules apply for the Compact Round Trampoline as the first two trampolines on this list: The max single jumper weight and the possibility of your child outgrowing the trampoline are concerns to consider before purchasing.
Cost: $1,499
Check out the Compact Round Trampoline Product Page to learn more.
Description: At 8 ft x 11 ft / 2.4x3.4m with 77 square feet of jumping space, the Medium Oval Trampoline is a step above the three previous Springfree Trampolines on this list.
Who Would Be a Fit for a Springfree Medium Oval Trampoline?
-
The Medium Oval Trampoline is for jumping enthusiasts with a long and narrow yard that can adequately accommodate the trampoline’s size.
-
Good fit for urban yards or those with a space that is longer than wide.
-
Would be a solid option for jumpers interested in developing trampolining experience within a narrow space.
-
Since it is a bigger trampoline, there’s less of a chance for your kid to quickly outgrow the trampoline.
Who Would Not Be a Fit for a Springfree Medium Oval Trampoline?
-
The Medium Oval Trampoline wouldn’t be a fit for yards that cannot fit its 8 ft x 11 ft / 2.4x3.4m jumping mat dimension and the recommended 1-1.5m clearance around the trampoline.
-
Since it is a medium-sized trampoline, families looking for either a smaller or larger oval-sized trampoline for jumping would want to look at another model.
Cost: $1,999
Check out the Medium Oval Trampoline Product Page to learn more.
Description: The Springfree Medium Round Trampoline is 10 ft in diameter, includes a mat size that is equivalent to a 12 ft/ 3m spring-based trampoline (one of the most common trampoline sizes) and allows for 79 square feet of jumping space.
Who Would Be a Fit for a Medium Round Trampoline?
-
This mid-sized trampoline is a good fit for all ages that have a medium-sized yard.
-
The 10 ft size is a good middle ground against the smallest and largest Round Trampolines offered by Springfree. the
Who Would Not Be a Fit for a Springfree Medium Round Trampoline?
-
If you favor the oval or square design of a trampoline, then the Springfree Medium Round Trampoline would not be a good fit.
-
Like all trampoline models, you must have sufficient space to place the trampoline in your backyard. If you can’t fit the Medium Round Trampoline’s 10 ft diameter, then you wouldn’t be a candidate to purchase it.
Cost: $1,999

Who Would Not Be a Fit for a Springfree Large Oval Trampoline?
-
If you don’t have the space to fit the 8 ft x 13 ft/ 2.4 x 4m Large Oval Trampoline in your yard, then it would not be a fit for you.
-
Small families would likely be better served to buy one of the less expensive models.
Cost: $2,299

Description: The Springfree Large Square Trampoline is the second-largest square trampoline model offered by Springfree, with a size of 11 ft x 11 ft/ 3.4 x 3.4m and a jumping surface area of 113 square feet.
