A 10 ft trampoline (or 3m trampoline) refers to the diameter of the trampoline or its frame-to-frame measurement. So, a 10 ft trampoline is 10 ft in diameter.
However, the jumping mat on traditional (spring-based) trampolines measures around 8 ft due to the springs and steel frame.
Our Springless Trampolines don’t have this problem, as the jumping mat matches the frame's dimensions due to the no-spring design!
For a growing family who wants a long-term trampoline, you may outgrow a 10 ft trampoline within the 10-year lifespan of a Springfree.
It’s always wise to buy a quality trampoline that’s built to last so your family can grow into it, rather than out of it.
However, if you’re buying a trampoline for a smaller yard and family, a 10-foot trampoline could be the perfect fit.
*We always recommend a one-jumper-at-a-time rule. Most trampoline injuries occur with multiple children jumping at the same time.
If you allow multiple kids to jump on a 10ft trampoline, you will need to check manufacture instructions for the trampoline’s weight limit and users’ weight.
If you want a high-strength trampoline for multiple kids, it may be worth it to buy a trampoline 13ft (4 m) or more in diameter.
The space you need for a 10 ft trampoline will differ depending on your manufacturer’s recommendations.
Space requirements will account for the trampoline’s frame-to-frame dimensions and additional clearance space.
For the Springfree Medium Round Trampoline, you will need 16.5 ft x 16.5 ft (5 m x 5 m) of room, including the 1-meter of clearance space.
